Parasound A21+ and JC 2 BP paired with KEF Reference speakers, known for their clarity, imaging, and tonal balance.

The A21+ is a Class A/AB stereo power amplifier delivering 300 watts per channel into 8 ohms, bringing high current and control that gives the KEF References room to breathe. The VAC Renaissance 70/70 is a statement piece from the golden era of Kevin Hayes’ design genius. Introduced in the late ‘90s, this dual-mono beast runs eight 300B output tubes in pure Class A triode mode, pumping out 70 watts per channel with a liquidity and authority that put VAC on the global map. Each channel has its own power supply and transformer.

The Renaissance 70/70 is the amp that proved modern tube gear could have the soul of vintage iron and the muscle to run demanding modern day speakers.

Back in 1973, Nakamichi flipped the script on what a cassette deck could be. The 700 Tri-Tracer was a real show stopper. With three heads, three motors, and dual capstans, it gave you precision tape handling, real-time monitoring, and sound quality that made people stop comparing cassettes to dictation machines and start comparing them to reel-to-reel.

This beast was overbuilt in every way: A tank-like transport, aircraft toggle switches, glowing VU meters. The 700 just drips old school cool. 😎

The team just spent an entire day restoring it to its original glory…cleaned, calibrated, and ready to rock. Should be hitting the floor in a few days. If you’re in Portland, swing by the shop and see it for yourself. This wont last long!
