Today’s the day! 💙 The 6th Annual John “Grizzly” Hillis Kickball Tournament is happening at Bogue Flats in Portland.

Come enjoy kickball on at least four fields, pulled pork, an ice cream truck, yard games, a dunk tank, and a raffle with something for all ages. I designed and made the journal, framed print, and tumbler pictured here to donate to the silent auction. I hope you’ll stop by and bid!

Our shop co-owner and P-W Special Teams Coach Babbitt will be in the dunk tank from 2:00–2:30 p.m. Come take your shot at dunking the coach while supporting this special event! 💦

🏴‍☠️ A pretty special project for Local Legends! 🏈💙💛

We were honored to design and engrave a commemorative coin for the first game of the season on the new turf field at Pirates Field!

This coin celebrate more than just opening night—but also commemorate the Pirates’ State Championship history and recognize the hard work that went into bringing the new turf field to life.

We absolutely LOVE getting to create pieces like this that have a story behind them and celebrate our local schools and community. 💙💛

Congratulations to P-W on an exciting new chapter at Pirates Field. Here’s to many more games, memories, and wins on that beautiful new turf! 🏴‍☠️🏈

We’ve been trying some new things at Local Legends!

A customer recently asked if we could engrave a very special message on a knife. This was something new for us, so we made no guarantees—but we were definitely willing to give it a try.

And we’re pretty happy with how it turned out. ❤️
More importantly, it was exactly as special as our customer hoped it would be.

We love getting the opportunity to create pieces that mean something—not just trophies and awards, but keepsakes that tell a story.

✨ So… what do you have that you’d love to make a little more special? What can we engrave for you?

Send us a message—we’re always up for trying something new!
