⛸️ Ice Skating – 4PM – 8PM - $7 per person (All-Day Pass)
Skate under the lights at the rink in Market Square Park.

🎁 Winterfest Gift Shop - 4PM – 8PM
Find festive merch and holiday goodies at 223 Market Street.

🎅 Santa’s Magical Elevator - 6PM-8PM – $3 per person
Meet Santa and ride his magical elevator inside the Winterfest Gift Shop at 223 Market Street.

🐴 Horse & Carriage Rides - 4PM – 8PM - $5 per person
Board your holiday carriage near 440 Second Street.

🍫 Snoopy’s Doghouse
Warm up with your favorite hot chocolate, s’mores, and festive snacks on the northeast corner of the park.

What's that warm feeling growing in my chest😍

🎄✨ It’s TREE-LIGHTING DAY, P-Town! ✨🎄

We’ve fluffed the branches, checked the bulbs (twice), and prayed to the Christmas light gods… so tonight’s the night!

👉 Right after the Jaycees Christmas Parade, join us at Market Square Park as we light the Winterfest Christmas Tree around 7:30 PM.

Expect:
🌟 A big countdown
🎅 Holiday chaos (the fun kind)
🎶 Christmas vibes on max
💚 And that cozy “this is why we love Portsmouth” feeling

Parade at 6 PM ➡️ Tree lighting at 7:30 PM ➡️ Ice skating & gift shop open until 10 PM.

Come help us flip the switch on the season—because nothing says “it’s officially Christmas” like yelling “THREE… TWO… ONE!” with half the town. 💚❤️

Good morning ya filthy animals! The Jaycees Christmas parade is tonight, so here's your reminder to make sure you dress warm.

We were told Slow Drip Coffee is along the parade route and will be open. Which is GREAT because Daylight Saving Time demands caffeine at 6pm because it feels like 9pm.

📍 it will be held at Market Street Café (right across from the bakery!)
👧👦 Ages 12 & under
🎨 Drop-in & decorate style — my holiday helpers and I will be there to guide anyone who wants tips or tricks
🎁 Optional take-home cookie kits available ($25)

🚨 Tickets will NOT be sold after December 7th — no exceptions.
When they’re gone… they’re gone faster than a cinnamon roll on a Saturday morning. 😉

…when all through the park,
Not a skate made a sound, not even a spark.
The rink sat glistening, calm under the light,
Just waiting for Winterfest’s opening night.

Tomorrow we skate, sip cocoa, and cheer—
Santa arrives and the holiday magic appears.
But tonight Market Square rests, peaceful and bright,
Ready to welcome the community with joy and delight.

Bundle up, gather your friends,
Winterfest’s magic officially begins
