Rewards program update:

From the very beginning, our goal has always been to build more than just a game store. We wanted to create a place where friends and family could gather, share great games, and have a place to belong. Thanks to your support, Diversions has become that and so much more!

As our community has grown, so has our rewards program. What started as a program for a small, local customer base now serves a much larger and more active community. While we're incredibly grateful for that growth, it also means the current program is no longer sustainable in its existing form.

Making changes to something our customers value isn't a decision we take lightly. We spent a great deal of time considering how to balance rewarding your loyalty while ensuring we can continue providing the products, events, and welcoming space you've come to expect from us.

Beginning September 11, we're introducing our updated Rewards Program, designed to continue rewarding our most loyal customers while supporting the long-term future of our stores.

How the new program works:

Friend Tier:
Earn 1 point for every $1 spent
Redeem your points in increments of 100!
100 points = $5 off,
200 points = $10 off,
300 points = $15 off,
and so on.

Family Tier:
After reaching $1,500 in lifetime purchases, you'll automatically earn 2 points for every $1 spent
Redeem your points in increments of 100!
100 points = $5 off,
200 points = $10 off,
300 points = $15 off,
and so on.

Accounts with no activity for two years will be reset to zero points.

Anyone currently earning 2x points will continue to do so. If you have already earned a $30 or $35 reward by September 10 and have not redeemed it, you will keep that reward until it is used.

Our updated rewards program is designed with the future in mind, so we can continue to invest in our community, host great events, expand our selection, and support our stores that will be here for many years to come.

We wouldn't be here without you, and we're honored to have you as part of our community. We know change can be difficult, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.

We are hosting one more prerelease event for Magic: the Gathering - THE HOBBIT! Join us on Saturday, August 15, 11:00am for one more sealed event at the store!

Sign-ups will be granted on a first come, first serve basis starting at 9:00am. This event will cap at 15 players. No prizing will be available at the end of the event.

Grab your cards and join us for our first Pokémon weekly play event at the shop on Thursday, August 6! Beginning this week, we'll be running weekly league every Thursday from 5:00-9:00pm. All our welcome whether you are brand new to the game or an experienced player!

All players should create a free account on https://trainer.pokemon.com before attending any event

To kick things off we'll have free refreshments and stickers to hand out for all who attend!
