Treehouse Toys in Portsmouth, NH is looking for someone who is mature, responsible, and self- motivated to join our team. This is not just your average retail job. We are passionate about toys, customer service, and fun! Expectations far exceed simply operating a cash register. You will be expected to actively familiarize yourself with our many products in order to best assist our customers.
Job duties will include:
- greeting customers and offering assistance
- providing knowledgeable product information
- cross-selling and suggesting alternative products
- cleaning
- merchandising
- completing a variety of sales transactions (sale, return, gift certificate, phone order, shipping)
-gift wrapping
COVID-19 Update: *Must be comfortable wearing a face covering throughout entire shift, excluding breaks*
This is a 20-30 hour per week position, with opportunity to increase hours during peak seasons. One weekend day is a must, as well as some evening hours. Retail and customer service experience is desired. You must be able to handle a fast paced environment as well as be willing to remain industrious during off periods. Occasional use of a ladder and light lifting is expected.
