River City Pawn Mourns the Loss of Friends and Heroes

River City Pawn lost more than a customer… we lost a friend.
Battalion Chief John Morrison… a man of courage, integrity, and deep community roots… gave his life in the line of duty. He was not only a respected member of the Coeur d’Alene Fire Department for over 28 years… but someone we proudly called a loyal customer and friend.

We also mourn the loss of Battalion Chief Frank Harwood of Kootenai County Fire & Rescue… a dedicated public servant, Army National Guard veteran, and hero to his community.

Our thoughts and prayers are also with Engineer David “Dave” Tysdal… who remains hospitalized after being seriously injured in the same ambush. We pray for his healing and stand with his family during this difficult time.

All three men are heroes. And all three are our community’s loss.

To the brave firefighters who continue to serve and protect… we see you… we honor you… and we thank you.

Kootenai County lost great men. The fire service lost brothers. And we at River City Pawn lost friends and heroes we will never forget.
