This is what my mental health looks like.
Not the “pretty” version.
Not the version that fits into a cute quote.
The real one.
There’s a version of me the world sees…
and then there’s the version of me I fight for every single day.
The one that carries trauma quietly.
The one that panics in silence.
The one that feels too much… and then goes numb.
The one that’s gotten really good at surviving things I never even deserved to go through.
And I’m posting this because I’m tired of pretending it’s not real.
Because too many people are silently drowning… while still showing up for everyone else like nothing is wrong.
Therapy isn’t embarrassing.
Struggling isn’t weakness.
Having trauma doesn’t mean you’re “broken.”
It means you’re human… and you’ve been carrying more than most people will ever understand.
Life is hard.
And it’s okay to feel it.
It’s okay to not be fine.
It’s okay to need help.
Healing doesn’t mean you never struggle — it means you stop suffering in silence.
And honestly… we all need to start treating people with basic human decency.
Not in a “good vibes only” way.
In a real way.
Because you never know what someone is holding together just to make it through the day.

And the reason I’m sharing this is simple…
I don’t want anyone to ever feel alone.
Or feel like they’re not good enough.
Social media and honestly the world can feel so fake, so loud, and so hard to live with.
And I get it. I really do.
I’m sharing this because if it helps even one person feel seen…
if it makes someone breathe easier for a second…
if it makes someone feel less alone in their own head…
Then it was worth it.
