After a few weeks away for the fairs and everything that comes with that madness, we’re finally back at the Rathdrum Craft & Farmers Market this Saturday, September 26!

And we’re coming back on a BIG day.

This Saturday is PIG OUT FOR A CAUSE, a full-day fundraiser benefiting the Rathdrum Lions Foundation Backpack Program, which helps provide food for local school kids on the weekends. ❤️

For the event, Squatch Burger Co. is running a ONE-DAY $6 SPECIAL:

🍔 Classic Squatch Burger
🍟 Small crinkle-cut fries
🥤 Bottled soda

All three for just $6.

Yes, six bucks. Burger, fries, and a drink. Apparently returning quietly was never an option. 😂

There’s going to be a TON happening throughout the day:

Come join us this Saturday, 9 to 4 in Rathdrum at the Lions Club! Car Show, Craft Fair and Farmers 2. Live band Great food and more! The Old is New Again will be there with NEW Fall and Holiday goodies. My Beautiful bride Sandy will be there with all her awesome soaps, lotions and creams from her Nourish line of small batch, Tallow based skin care products! See you there!

🌾 Farmland is more than open space waiting for something else to be built on. It is the land that puts food on our tables.

Once productive fields disappear beneath roads, warehouses and housing, bringing them back is rarely simple. And as we lose the ability to grow food close to home, we become increasingly dependent on production somewhere else.

Development is necessary. So are homes and infrastructure. But the land capable of feeding us deserves to be treated as something valuable too.

We can build for the future without forgetting one of the most basic things that future will always need.

Food has to be grown somewhere.

Been a busy week! Built some beds for the neighbor, and I have kept the lasers running long and hard making new signs and getting ready for the Holidays. See you all tomorrow at the Rathdrum Craft fair and Farmers market! Gonna be a hoot!

9a until 2pm. So much family fun, and great eats.
We, The Old is New Again, and my beautiful wife, Nourish body heart and soul, will be thier with new wood goodies and fresh Tallow products!
