Monday, err Tuesday Book Review!!
Greetings from Ireland! ❤️🇮🇪
This week's review is for Spark of the Everflame and Glow of the Everflame by Penn Cole.
These are both really good fantasy books with exceptional characters and world building. At times, a couple parts felt a little like ACOTAR but not so much that it turned me off totally from the story.
Our story follows a mortal young woman, Diem as she works as a healer in her mortal world. Her story expands as she begins to help with the healing tasks alongside her mother with the Descended, or nonmortals. Suddenly her world is upendded and she must survive and make a new path for herself and her brother.
These are well written, with great characters and plot. I was engaged from the start in both of these and I CANNOT wait to read the 3rd and 4th!

Hollow Bones by Jodi Picoult is sure to be a favorite!
Exit Party by Emily St John Mandel is her newest dystopia novel.

Monday Book Review!!
This week I am reviewing Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke.
This is definitely a more polarizing book causing strong feelings. Most readers either love this or really dislike it.
This book has a satirical vibe about it but still felt like it was real in a sense.
I ranked it a solid 4 mugs, it was a little slow for me in the middle, but it did wrap things up and I liked how it ended.
