💜 Friday Favorites | War Room Style 💜

I didn’t forget. I’m just taking my time with this one.

Every morning when I go upstairs to turn on the lights in The War Room, I look around and smile. This one room has zero dollar value, yet it is quite literally INVALUABLE in my eyes.

A friend said two words to me sometime last fall, and they have stuck with me ever since:

Set apart.

We are set apart for a purpose, and I believe The War Room is, too. I tried adding the teen section because I knew they would love it there, but the Lord kept showing me that this room needed to be set apart.

God’s presence fills this entire shop, but if you’ve spent time in The War Room, you know His presence can feel almost tangible there.

There’s one little section that makes me tear up every time I look at it. I call it The Exchange. Some things need more than a passing prayer. We need to lay them at His feet, let go, and receive His peace in exchange.

Looking at all these tags, I’m believing that what was written on them wasn’t only prayed over. I’m believing burdens were surrendered and hearts received the peace that surpasses all understanding.

It’s okay to come to The War Room just to sit. Bring your Bible, or read the one that’s there and highlight a verse that speaks to you. Think about what you’ve been carrying and what you haven’t truly surrendered. Write it on a tag, pray over it, and leave it there.

And remember, you don’t have to carry it back out with you, friend.

I have recommended this to many ladies who are all experiencing some of the same things. Hormones are no joke. My prayer for you today...

It’s more than a song. It’s an anthem I sing to remember all the Lord has brought me through. Every challenge, every hard time, every moment I needed grace and received it.

Who am I that You keep me on Your mind? God, I’m just grateful for YOU.
Father God, You knit me together in my mother’s womb. You know me so well that even the hairs on my head are numbered. You were with me in the dark places, even when I was far from You. You saw the destruction in my life, and still, You never left me. You were there then, just as You are here now.

Thank You for bringing me through the seasons when I didn’t feel like enough, when I looked to the world for validation, and when I thought pleasing everyone else would satisfy me. Thank You for Jesus Christ, who died on the cross and rose again so that I could live the life You’ve called me to.

Today I pray for my friends and family, for those who know You and those who don’t. I pray for our community, our country, and our world. Lord, so many people are on the edge of something You’re calling them into. Help us empty ourselves of ourselves and invite You to fill us to overflowing.

Protect our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Your Word says to resist the enemy and he will flee. So I proclaim that we belong to You. Take hold of our thoughts and help us dwell on what is true, noble, right, and praiseworthy.

Father, we lay this day at Your feet. Guide us. When we feel uncertain, remind us to do the last thing You told us to do. Help us take it one day at a time, or just a few hours at a time when that’s all we can manage. Draw us back to You throughout the day. Help us put on the full armor of God, bear good fruit, and spend time alone with You. We can’t wait until Sunday to seek You.

For anyone who thinks praying is hard, teach them that they can simply talk with You. You are our best friend, our provider, our Redeemer, and the One who has never left our side.

Lord, I pray for everyone reading this today. Put gratitude in their hearts and this song on their lips. We love You, Lord, and we praise You. In Jesus’ mighty name I pray, Amen.

I’m almost afraid to share these…

I planned to SLOWLY show you the new crewnecks, mock necks, and hoodies, but four mock necks and two kids fleece went home with customers today, and I only had six customers!

So here’s a sneak peek at a few things for the whole family: men, women, and kids. Some may not be reordered, so if you see something you love, grab it while it’s here. Think fall, Christmas gifts, or just because you want one for yourself!
