π Good afternoon ladies, gents, and everyone in between - please read! π
π°π I'm in the process of making printed price lists to have on my tables. These will be laminated sheets placed near corresponding items, reducing any potential difficulty with reading the individual tags. I will also post these here on my page once finished!
At markets I accept cash, Venmo, PayPal, and FB pay if needed. I ran into a first last night where someone was paying with Venmo - but never sent the payment. Not a big loss, and I truly do not believe it was intentional, but I'll definitely have to start making sure I receive those prior to handing over the items moving forward.
π It was suggested to me that I create a binder containing printed photos of various items that I may not have on me. While I am doing markets now, the majority of my business is still built on orders. Hopefully the photo binder will assist in reminding people of that and driving in more sales π I do bring my ledger/order book to every market, as well as a tape measure in the event anyone wants to order a custom top in person!
π I'm looking into the best platform with which to create my own website. I will not make an Etsy account because they take so much from you in fees, I've seen many people having issues with this. I would like to use this as a way to show immediately available items outside of just markets. On top of this, several customers I've met recently do not have a Facebook but would like to see more of the things I offer still.
Do you have your own website, or know of the best way to go about making one? Let me know in the comments!
π I will be having some items in two different shops soon - the pricing on those items may be slightly different than what you see at markets to ensure that I still get paid accordingly while paying the very fair commission percentages to have my items sold in said shops.
π·οΈ I am open to take orders again! Just a few reminders with this:
- Please message this business page with any inquiries or orders. I am not able to initiate messages from here. Messaging my personal page results in conversations being buried/lost, and I do not check my message requests regularly.
- I require a nonrefundable 50% deposit on any orders totaling over $20. Extenuating circumstances may be considered in the event of a cancellation, but this is to compensate for the time I spend and the product I may have to order.
- Orders must be paid in full before receiving the item (s). If you do not respond to my messages within 30 days from when I tell you that your order is ready, I will assume you no longer want it. I 100% understand that things come up, and I am more than flexible if extra time is needed, all I ask is for communication! β€οΈ
- My typical turnaround time is between 2 to 4+ weeks depending on the item ordered, how many orders I have at the time, upcoming markets that I need to restock for, etc. Bigger items naturally have a longer wait time. I work odd hours to be a (mostly) stay at home mom to my two little boys - so all of my fiber art time occurs scattered throughout the crazy days we share. I always do my best to have things done as quickly as possible!
- I almost never charge for patterns. I do not find it fair to do when I'll have it available to use in the future and not just for a single order.
π’ I DO OFFER SHIPPING.
When you place an order, I have a few different options available as to how you receive your item(s)!
- I can deliver when available, if needed, for a gas fee.
- I can meet customers in Canton or Potsdam, as I live directly between the two towns.
- I may offer for the item(s) to be picked up at my house.
- I will absolutely ship anything if requested. I will provide necessary packaging myself, however the customer is responsible for the shipping price.
Thank you so much for your continued support - I now have just shy of 1.2K followers, and I appreciate every single one of you β€οΈ
