🌿 A Day in the Life of a Florist…

Sometimes a bouquet is just a bouquet. And sometimes there’s a whole story behind every single stem. 🤍

For this wedding, Tyler’s soon-to-be wife had one very special request. She wanted Sampaguita, a beloved Filipino jasmine flower, included in her bouquet. 🇵🇭🤍

So naturally… I went on a mission. I called wholesalers near and far. I asked questions. I searched. I made phone calls. I tried everything I could think of to find this special flower. Sampaguita was out of season, and I wasn’t able to find the actual blooms. But I was able to track down a jasmine vine. It didn’t have flowers on it—just the beautiful jasmine greenery—but I knew I wanted to include it.

Because sometimes flowers are about more than what they look like. Sometimes it’s about the meaning behind them. 🌿

So I tucked that jasmine vine into her bouquet as a little nod to her Filipino heritage. And then we filled the rest of this beauty with dahlias, ranunculus, lisianthus, and so many other gorgeous little details. Every stem was chosen and arranged with love.

And a little shoutout to The Collective up the street! 💕 I love being surrounded by other creative small businesses and being able to support one another and make beautiful things happen in our little town.

This bouquet was made with so much love.

Tyler and your beautiful bride-to-be, I wish you both a lifetime of happiness, laughter, adventure and an abundance of love. May your life together be every bit as beautiful as this beginning. 🤍🌿

I am happy to now have the work of local artist at Dani Bee Funky!

Josh and I actually have a pretty fun connection—we both spend our days teaching, and now we get to do something creative together outside of the classroom. 🐝

Josh’s pottery is handmade, completely unique, and honestly… it fits Dani Bee Funky PERFECTLY.

One of my favorite things about having this little shop is getting to discover talented people in our own community and give them a place to share what they make.
