❤️ Sometimes we all need a hug ❤️
You may have noticed we're a little quiet over here, and there's reason for it...
Over the past few months, after what feels like a plethora of tests and imaging, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. I will be undergoing surgery at the end of July to remove my entire thyroid gland and the surrounding lymph nodes also affected.
Despite my diagnosis, I'm still crocheting, still creating things that make me (and hopefully others) happy! Life continues at a beautiful, frantic pace, and I'm doing my best to slow down and enjoy every moment of it, and my family, with more intention.
I'm optimistic to fill our vendor space at the Beauty Bee Storefront: On the Trail with Summerween and Fall goodies before my prodecure, and to join all our wonderful friends and supporters at our regularly attended craft shows after. Remember to shop small, support local, and celebrate every day!
