There are some stones that seem to hold a little more mystery than others, and Labradorite has always felt that way to me. Melody, author of Love Is in the Earth, called Labradorite the “Temple of the Stars”, describing it as having an otherworldly, almost extraterrestrial quality, as though pieces of the stars had fallen to Earth and become trapped within its layers. And then you turn the stone in your hand and catch that flash of vibrant color and understand exactly what she meant.
Labradorite is often associated with crossing thresholds, awakening intuition, navigating change, and seeing beyond what is immediately visible. It feels like a stone for those moments when you know something is shifting, even if you can't quite see what is coming next.
I have two new pieces of Labradorite jewelry in the shop from one of my favorite designers in Ashville. Two very magical talismans blessed with the Temple of the Stars. 💫
