They say a picture is worth a thousand words but it was so busy I barely even got two (so sorry we missed taking one with you Lauren Blakely !) and honestly I’m not sure any amount of words would be enough to truly express how profoundly grateful we are for every single person who came by, said hi, purchased books, gave us drive by hugs, waited patiently in line, and checked to make sure we’d reapplied sunscreen during the Puget Sound Book Festival this year. Nor do I think there are enough words to sufficiently express to each of you how big a difference your support makes.

A very big thank you also to Dr. Lexi LaFleur Brown and Lauren Blakely for joining us to sign books and chat with readers. We were so happy to host you and it is such a joy to see excited readers meeting their favorite authors face to face.

So yes, while there are thousands of things we could say, for now we’re just going to offer a simple but heart felt “thank you” and a fervent “we love you.”

More will come later but now it’s time for us to rest up and recover so that we can celebrate Bookstore Romance Day with you all this Saturday 8/15 at Ty’s Wine and Brew from 3-7pm.

Did we maybe (definitely) forget to officially post the reading suggestions for book club this month after sharing them to our story? Yes. (Listen, planning the Puget Sound Book Festival can really be all consuming sometimes. 😅🙈) But you know what, the great thing about this book club is that you can read whatever you want to anyways!

The people have spoken! Given the impending holiday and everyone’s busy schedules, we’re rescheduling this month’s Blush-Worthy Book Club to be 10am (new time!) July 12 (different date) at the same great location ChocMo Chocolatier & Cafe . 🍫☕️🍵🍷📚

Choose your own adventure means you can read some, one, or none of the suggested reads. Whatever suits your fancy! Read the whole book, or just get started. Wherever you’re at and however much you’ve read, we’ll be gathering to talk all things romance books and you’re invited to come share. It’s a great place to add to your TBR, meet other readers, and generally chat about the genre we all love. 💗

Exciting news: You can come see Wicked Words AND Lauren Blakely during this year’s Puget Sound Book Festival!

We’ll be slinging romance books at the Bremerton Boardwalk (conveniently located right next to the Bremerton ferry ⛴️) August 9 from 12-4 and Author Lauren Blakely will be available at our booth to sign books and greet readers from 12-2.
