Widely used across the Middle East and North Africa, it is believed to ward off the evil eye, deflect negative energy, and bring good fortune, blessings, and health to the person who has it. I just finished this Kokopelli. The pattern is something I made up just because I needed something simple and quick to make. The last piece was a challenge so I needed a break. Woods used were: Blue Pine, Mahogany, Red Heart, Spalted Tamarind, Canary wood, Purple Heart, Red Heart, Golabao and Padauk. He will be available soon at Bee Hill Bakery in Silverdale.

I finished my Blue Heron. This was a design by the late Bruce Worthington whose work I admired. The woods used were spalted tamarind, ambrosia maple, red cedar, peruvian walnut, bocote and American walnut. No stains or dyes were used.

I just finished another cute owl. I have promised myself this is the last owl for awhile.
