I really liked the way this little doodle turned out, but I really love working with color. I felt like he needed a little splash of color somewhere, so I gave him a rainbow tummy. My partner suggested giving him rainbow spikes to match. I really like him. I might even turn him into a sticker or something, but I feel like he needs some inspirational text or something to go with him maybe. ***rartist

Never in a million years did I think I'd find myself handing out LGBT affirmation buttons from a church booth at a pride event. I grew up in an environment where all I felt from Christians was rejection and hate. The very best I could expect was "love the sinner, hate the sin", and nothing about that made me feel loved or welcome.
I know there are many LGBTQ+ people who don't want anything to do with Christianity or organized religion, and I think thats completely valid. For me, reclaiming my faith has been healing. I feel like I am taking back something that was wrongfully withheld from me. I'm reclaiming a relationship that belonged to me. I'm reaffirming my value and my wholeness. Other people do not get to define my worth. Other people do not get to define my relationship with God. ***rchristian

Disability pride pins and disability communication buttons are now in my shop! 🔗 in bio.

It's been a rough month managing my own disability and advocating for myself. Sometimes I have to be louder than I'm comfortable being to let people know what I need. I'm hoping that using these buttons myself helps me a little.

I wish I could have been in two places at once this weekend. I'm sorry I missed . I was away having an incredible adventure as a cabin leader at camp n-sid-sen! 🏕

My time at camp was truly a life-changing experience and I feel so privileged to have spent the week with such amazing kids.

One of the highlights of my week was spending time in the amazing craft room, making bracelets and hand-drawn buttons. The kids were so creative and fearless in talking about their identities. It truly healed a part of me.

Coming back home to the real world has been jarring, especially since I came back to the news that my sweet baby had an emergency vet visit while I was away. My partner didn't want to worry me with the news while I was out of town, but that roaring thunderstorm we all experienced here in the was enough to spook our cat into taking a swipe at poor Gerri. He's healing really well, but the unexpected emergency vet bill is a lot and isn't covered by his pet insurance.

So if you have anything from my shop sitting in your cart waiting for the right moment, or if you've ever considered treating yourself to something lovely from my partner's shop over Amber W. - now would be an amazing time to get yourself a little something and help us out with Gerri's recovery. 🐶

I've never done anything like this before, but I said yes anyway. I'm really excited to be volunteering my time with an organization that is open, affirming and supportive to all youth. Studio's closed for a week. I'll be back and shipping again July 19th! Appreciate you all for your patience. 💛
