A member of the American Booksellers Association, PNW Booksellers Association and the Authors' Guild. We carry new books with specialty sections: New Fiction, New Nonfiction, Scandinavian, PNW Authors, Marine, PNW History, PNW Flora and Fauna to name some, along with a large kids section.

To commemorate our bookstore’s upcoming 50th birthday, Suzanne asked one of her favorite local artists Faith Pray to do a painting of the bookstore, with Suzanne, Walker and Fiona. We love it! The original will hang in Suzanne’s house but Faith is doing another version with only Fiona that will soon appear on our new stickers and tote bags.

Our History Book Group meets Wednesday, July 15 at our bookstore at 5:30. This group reads both nonfiction and historical fiction. Led by Doug, our retired firefighter-turned bookseller, this group loves a great discussion and are happy to welcome new members. If you’re looking for a way to meet new people, to spend some phone-free time and read fascinating books, come on down and introduce yourself.
