Thress Nursery Gardens is a family-owned and operated business that began in 1955 by the late Jack Thress.

After 50 years in business, Thress Nursery still remains the hands-on operation that it was in the very beginning. Our employees are dedicated to making your experience worth your while, satisfaction guaranteed. Clients are welcome to visit Thress Nursery at any time during the year, where they may purchase quality products from our large inventory of trees, plants, shrubs, and home decor. Our knowledgeable staff is always on-hand and will guide you through our extensive selection, offering their expertise when necessary. Thress Nursery's superior landscape design and installation services are recognized throughout the industry. We have two full-time landscape designers who are happy to discuss a client's ideas and offer their assistance through professional experience. The landscape installation crews are highly skilled at replicating the designer's vision, however unique and creative it may be. Modern equipment helps us to complete every landscape in a timely manner. Thress Nursery Gardens also offers the "Cabin" - a spacious retail shop that offers seasonal, garden, and other unique gifts. Shoppers come from all over Knoxville to see our exclusive, high-end selection. The Cabin goes all out for Christmas, with many families making it a tradition to come see us every year. We appreciate the opportunity to inform you about our nursery and look forward to serving you in the near future!
