Mac still sits patiently waiting for me to beam on the warp BUT I did do 2 dye pots! The dark yarn is a blend I'm putting together. I got a lamb fleece, her name is Dibbs (I saw her in the pasture & said ... I have Dibbs on that fleece!!) Dibbs is 75% BFL & 25% Gotland. I blended 75% Dibbs & 25% Mulberry Silk. So far I've dyed 4 different colors, and I'll put the skeins together so you can see how nice they look after this Terra Cota color dries. It's been a busy day! I may get Mac's warp beamed on this evening!🤞

Mac is now being dressed for some kitchen towels! I haven't decided colors or patterns yet. Will explore my cotton stash & look at not only colors & textures! Stay tuned!

It's been busy here the last few weeks! Here's my latest garment off Mac. The shrug is all my handspun, natural colors except, if you look closely at the 2ply brown, you'll see I added just a touch of rust/orange. The dark wool is Leicester Lamb, the grey is a blend of Yak, Merino & Silk, and the white is Targhee blended with Bamboo & Silk. I've priced it out at $400. July 26 & 27 is the Prairie City Fiber Fest & I'll show it there. Then it will go to Frenchglen, Oregon where it will be available. PM me if you have questions!

Today I've started washing another fleece from a white ewe named Shooter. She looks so grey on my sorting/drying rack, but after 5 soak washes & rinses in straight hot water using Dawn she will be a white, soft fiber. She's 75% BL, .15% Coopworth & .06% Targhee. Yes, I use an old washer simply as a soak tub. The old fashioned dial allows me to jump from soak to spin out with no agitation. Pictured here is half of a 6 pound fleece.

A final push today! The first picture I the south end of my carding shop with the old wooden work bench & surroundings piled high with 'old stuff'! The 2nd picture is the bench gone, and a work table in its place! Tomorrow will be some rearranging of the carder & picker! But what a change! Thank you Betsy Vorse Koncerak & Douglas Furr for all your hard work!!!

Today was a busy day! The Carribean Blue yarn dried on the blocker, so I took it off, labeled, priced it & stored them in their bins in the carding room.
This evening I finished 4 ounces of a baby Camel/Silk blend. Will load another bobbin & spin another 4 ounce. Will be doing a 2ply ... so stand by early next week!

Today was a Carribean Blue dye lot. The dark yarn is a 2 ply blend of Silk & a ewe named Dibbs who is a BFL & Gotland cross. I lightly blended the 2 fibers so the skein has a Heather look. The white yarn is textured to give you a wonderful handspun look to accent your project. The ewe is Butter and a BFL cross. The skeins are 102 yards & I sell by skein weight.

This is a special Blocker full of fun yarn. All is 2 ply, no dye. The grey is Yak, Merino & Silk blend and is sooo soft! The white is a blend of Targhee, Silk & Bamboo. The skeins are 102 yards each and I sell by the weight of the skein, not by yards. The skeins weigh about 2 ounces each.

I've finally got myself organized! To bring you all "current " here's my carding area! I have at least 8 fleeces washed & ready to start processing! The picture is my carding area & shows my Brothers Picker & Duncan electric carder. There's some carded Batts and wool ready to be processed!

So many more! The scarves are 100% cotton. The hats and hat/scarf sets are wool.
