Our Story
Aud’s & En’s in the Grove,LLC
Our Story
Audra is the owner of Sexton, Bailey Attorneys, PA. and focuses her practice on Estate Planning, Medicaid Planning, Wills, Trusts, Probate, Trust Administration, Business Formation, and Real Estate. Offices are located in Fayetteville, Farmington, Prairie Grove, and the River Valley by appointment. After years of collecting antiques she decided to turn her hobby into a store.
Aud’s & En’s in the Grove was named for our owner, Audra Bailey and her daughter, Ellyn, who's cousins couldn’t say “Ellyn” when they were babies, so they called her “En.” Ellyn did a wonderful job naming the store, and we think the name is just corny enough to work! The store is full of things we think are wonderful. We have antiques, flea market items, junk, clothing (new and gently worn), and everything in between. As our name suggests, it’s a store of Odds and Ends. You never know what you will find when you visit.
Our first home was a building with rich history here in Prairie Grove. The building was built in 1912 and first occupied by Citizen’s Bank. “Citizen’s Bank” was written on the concrete panel on the front of the building. About 1915, First National Bank purchased Citizen’s Bank and moved into this building. In 1929 First National consolidated with Farmer’s State Bank, which was located on the corner, and the name changed to Farmers & Merchants Bank. This building later housed Clark’s Jewelry and then in 1957, a flower shop run by Charles & Colleen Knowles. The flower shop changed hands a few times beginning in the mid-70s. Since that time it has housed an art gallery, a flea market and our first store. Building on the success of that store, we purchased a building located across from Battlefield Park in Prairie Grove. This location gave us the opportunity to feature the many unique and interesting vendors in our area. We now have a booth in Back in the Day Antiques & Flea Market in Lincoln.
Please browse, buy, make yourselves at home, but most of all, please tell your friends about our little store in “The Grove.”
