Be careful who you send your personal information to. It’s almost like a game to see how many profiles is linked to the same stolen profile.

We knew it would only be a matter of time.
Deceptive counterfeit versions of the rare 2026 Declaration of Independence "July 4th" privy mark quarter are flooding online marketplaces like eBay and Etsy. Because authentic specimens command high prices—often selling raw for over $100 and hundreds more when graded—scammers are producing fake and altered die-struck replicas. How to Spot Fake 2026 "July 4th" Privy QuartersThe Date & Lettering Style: On genuine U.S. Mint issues, the dual dates (1776–2026) and inscriptions feature precise, tilted styling. Counterfeits frequently use a flat hyphen instead of the correct angled separator or tilt character. The Liberty Bell Detail: Inspect the yoke/details of the bell on the reverse. Fake versions often exhibit extra, messy lines or blobs inside the bell components that do not match official mint dies. The Privy Mark & Mint Marks: Authentic July 4th privy quarters feature the small "July 4th" stamp on the obverse and carry no regular mint mark (P or D) in that specific area. Be wary of altered common quarters or raw listings from unverified overseas sellers.Protecting YourselfBuy Graded: Only purchase high-value 2026 privy quarters if they are certified ("slabbed") by trusted, major grading services like PCGS or NGC.
