Keanua Dickson MY DAUGHTER, KEANUA DICKSON ❤️
She wasn’t ready to share this until she was ready, and I ask everyone to please respect that this is her story and her time to speak.
Please keep our family wrapped in your warmest thoughts, prayers, and love as we help our daughter begin walking a path she never should have had to face.
Scott suffered a devastating stroke and, despite everything the doctors and our family hoped and prayed for, he was unable to recover. Our family was then faced with the most heartbreaking decision anyone could ever imagine — to continue keeping him alive on machines, or to allow him to pass peacefully.
With unimaginable love and a completely shattered heart, the family made the hardest decision of their lives.
Scott was removed from life support and passed quietly and peacefully.
There are no words that can truly explain what our daughter and those kids are going through right now. They lost their husband, their father, their protector, and their rock. And our family is trying to help them learn how to navigate a world that suddenly looks completely different.
Because of this, War Dawg Ceramics will be closed for the time being. Our focus needs to be on our daughter, our grandchildren, and helping them through the days ahead.
Please be patient with us. Please understand if messages and orders aren’t answered right away. Right now, ceramics can wait. Everything can wait.
Our family needs time to grieve, to hold each other up, and to help these babies understand how to live in a world without their dad.
Please keep Keanua, the kids, and our entire family in your prayers. ❤️
And Scott… may you finally be free of the pain and surrounded by peace. You were deeply loved, and you will never be forgotten.
Until we meet again. ❤️
From my daughter
I don’t even know how to write these words. I don’t know how I’m supposed to say goodbye to the man who was my husband, my best friend, my safe place, and my rock.
My Rock Star has gained his VIP entrance to heaven. 💔 He’s up there now with Ozzzy and all of his favorite singers, probably making sure the music is good and causing a little trouble like only he could.
While my heart is completely shattered, I have to believe that he is somewhere beautiful, free from pain, and surrounded by all the things and people he loved.
As I try to figure out how to navigate this world without him, please bear with me. I don't know what life looks like from here. I don't know how to be okay. I don't know how to wake up tomorrow and accept that he isn't going to be there. Right now, I'm just trying to take this one breath, one minute, one day at a time.
To everyone who loved Scott—thank you. Thank you for loving my husband. Thank you for praying for him, checking on him, encouraging him, and standing beside us through this fight. I will never be able to put into words what that has meant to me.
Scott was a great man. He loved hard, he lived big, and he left a mark on so many people. I was blessed to be the woman he chose to love and the woman who got to call him my husband.
I would give anything for one more hug, one more kiss, one more “I love you,” one more stupid joke, one more argument, one more ordinary day with you.
I love you, Scott. More than these words could ever explain.
Go rock the heavens, baby. 🎸❤️
I'll find you again someday. Until then, I’ll carry you with me in everything I do.
Forever your wife. Forever your p**f ball 💔
