As one of the last true family businesses, we personally handle every aspect of the knifemaking process, from new design concepts to final testing. We take pride in sourcing only the finest quality raw materials, and every one of our knives is handmade by us in our shop in Arizona, USA. We're now into our third generation of knifemakers and still going strong.

We have been getting a lot of new followers lately, which we are extremely grateful for, and thought this would be a good time to introduce ourselves to all the new members of the Dawson Family!

Dawson knives started in 1973, when Barry Dawson took to a small storage unit in Texas to start what would evolve into the Dawson Knives you know today!

Three generations later and you get the present day Dawson Knives. Although we have relocated to Prescott, Arizona, we still carry the same dedication to American Craftsmanship that Barry dedicated himself to many years ago.

We are small family dedicated to our faith and master craftsmanship.

We are Dawson Knives.

Our differential heat treatment, the Hamon finish, was inspired by ancient Japanese sword making. The cutting edge and spine are brought to different hardness levels, delivering performance that is second to none.

Our Rainstorm finish is brought to a RCH of 62-63. Providing exceptional toughness, durability, impact resistance, and edge holding capabilities.

Regardless of the finish you pick, our blades are built to withstand the toughest challenges.
