The Pueblo Wedding Vase-
Is an ancient double-spouted clay vessel still used in Traditional Pueblo wedding ceremonies.
One spout of the vessel represents the husband, and the other, the wife. The looped handle atop joining the two represents the unity achieved with marriage. In a traditional wedding ceremony, the groom's parents gift the wedding vase, from which then, the newly-weds drink from the double-spouts, as a symbol of consummating the marriage.

Painted War Horse, an Art-
The Native Americans valued their horses and held them in the highest esteem; Going into battle was dangerous for both. It therefore made sense to apply war paint to their horses as well as themselves, before and after each battle- each warrior decorating with the symbolism of his personal achievements and his various spirit guides.
The Reasons for applying horse war paint was to send a Visual Messages of Marks of Distinction and Honor, to Mentally Prepare for battle, Symbols of Power and Magic, and to recall special events of their tribes history.

Following a battle: A triumphant warrior might apply paint to his horse, kept in deerskin pouches, so the tribe could see at a glance the outcome of the battle from a distance.

Dream Catchers-
are used by placing them at the head of ones bed.
As the Dreams unfold throughout the night, good and bad dreams are caught upon the web. Good dreams spiral back out, while bad dreams are caught and held as stones upon the web until mornings Light falls upon the dream catcher, burning and releasing the bad dream with the sun rays.

Tiny Cactus Growth-Rate-
Most cactus grow slowly, sprouting to the size of a large marble after 6-12 months, and only to a few centimeters in height after 2-3 years, depending on the species. Most cacti grow 1-3 cm in height per year. There are a few notable exceptions that can grow up to 15 centimeters or more in height per year, with some saguaro cactus towering a mighty 75 feet high!
The plants have shallow root systems, about only 1.3 cm deep, to allow them to absorb as much water as possible. Therefore, with a cactus baby, it is important to avoid Overwatering, which will impede growth if it doesn’t kill the cactus of root-rot outright

Raku Pottery, Kiln Process-
The art of Raku is an ancient tradition originating in 1574 from the Ming Dynasty in China- creating an entire family lineage dedicated to this Raku tea-cup craft. The word translating to “Fun or Delightful.”

Each Hand thrown vessel is made from a special clay …. which can withstand high heat. The pottery is fired in an outdoor kiln at a hi-temperature of 2000 Degrees Fahrenheit, then pulled out red-hot from the oven and placed in a pit filled with wood-shavings, as it is left to smolder. Not all pots survive this hot-process, but the ones that do are guaranteed to have strong ceramic.

Peace Pipe: Sacred Item, Traditional Use & Origin-
The Camulet, or “Peace-Pipe” was brought forth and smoked on momentous occasions. It was an integral part of Indigenous People’s political life, Inter-Tribal conferences and treaty negotiations.
The “Peace-Pipe was also at the very heart of their religious life. Medicine Men used it in sacred ceremonies to heal sickness, to ward off dangers and troubles, and to carry out their prayers, as it was believed that the smoke of “Grandfather Tobacco” lifted to the sky, where the Young Eagle spirits met grandfather and continued the journey of delivering the prayers to Father-Sky, or god.

The pipe styles varied from tribe to tribe, fashioning them from bone, wood, clay and a variety of stones. But in one respect, all were the same; all were sacramental and were believed to be of divine inspiration. The bowl where the offering was burned was believed to be the altar and was associated with the divine feminine aspect, assembled and joined by the Pipe Handle, the divine masculine.
