Say hi to Isabel!
Isabel currently works about three days a week here and this picture describes her perfectly! 🥰
Isabel is about to start her last year at UMPI preparing to be a physical therapy assistant, and has been such a great fit for our store and staff! (I can't even think about how sad we will be when she's ready to leave! 😭) Isabel is fun, funny, talkative, sweet, and just so lovable! She's aways willing to lend an extra hand and even work the really long shifts! She showed up just exactly when we needed her and it's been so fun to watch her grow in the last year that she's been here! Her reading has exploded this year and she's ready so many great books! She really loves listening to audiobooks!
Here's what Isabel has to say:
My favorite genres are literary fiction, romance, and occasionally fantasy. My favorite books I’ve read this year are The Wedding People, The Calamity Club, Pictures of Him, This Book Made Me Think Of You, and many many more that I could go on about forever.
I love working at Neighborhood Books because I get to share my love of reading with people who enjoy it just as much as I do. One of my favorite parts of the job is talking with customers, hearing about the kinds of books they love, and helping them find their next great read. I feel incredibly lucky to work in such a special place. Laura has created such a welcoming, fun, and encouraging environment, and that makes coming to work something I genuinely look forward to. Neighborhood Books has become one of my favorite places to be, and I’m so grateful to be a part of it!
