Did you know that on October 3rd we're hosting a Bookstore Spooky Day?!
Think Bookstore Romance Day, but spooky.
We're going to have tons of mystery, thriller, and horror books on display, Groovy Girl Café with us with some spooky drinks, Al’s Green Kitchen Macs for spooky macarons, special mysterious sidelines, spooky blind dates with a book, AND a free tote bag with a spooky ARC (advance reader copy- some released some unreleased) for the first 20 people that spend $75 with us that day!
We can't wait and we hope to see you then!

I'm here by myself for a bit this morning. Reseting the store, enjoying the quiet, drinking some coffee, and forgetting my mug all over the store.

Our fall book fairs are approaching quickly!
It's a BUSY and fun time of year for us!
If hosting a Neighborhood Books book fair is something you'd like to see at your school this fall, now is the time to reach out! It takes a lot of work to make all of the book fairs run smoothly and we are doing our planning now!

Home Ec. Is back up and running today! The store looks awesome! Go check it out!

The doors are OPEN. 🎉We're back today, 10am–3pm. Regular hours, fresh floors, brand-new layout.

A few honest confessions before you visit:
🚧 The floors turned out gorgeous. Genuinely. Come stare at them with us.
🛍 The new layout is a whole vibe—we're a little obsessed.
📦 Not everything is out of storage yet.
📍 We may need a minute (or a map) to find your favorites.
That renovation took just a smidge longer than planned. But we're back, the concrete is stunning, and this old building has never looked better.

So bring your patience, your sense of adventure, and maybe a little grace as we hunt for the essential oils together.

We've missed this place. We've missed you more. See you today. ✨
