A huge THANK YOU to the amazing Heather Robey with Pop Up Parties (https://www.popuppartiesfun.com) for creating this absolutely beautiful balloon arch for our Sidewalk Sales today! 💕🎈

She knocked it out of the park, and we couldn't have loved it more.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans.

😅 The Idaho heat decided our balloons looked a little too happy and gave them a series of very dramatic exits throughout the day. 💥🎈☀️

If you stopped by and noticed our arch looking a little... "deflated," or heard the “pops” please know it wasn't Heather's work—it was just the summer sun doing what summer sun does!

Thank you for your understanding, and an even bigger thank you to Heather for making our event so beautiful.

As we get closer to the parade, I'd like to ask everyone to consider supporting our local businesses in one simple way.

Many vehicles are being parked along the parade route days and weeks before the event to reserve spots. While I understand the excitement and tradition, those parking spaces are the same ones our local businesses depend on every day for their customers.

When customers can't find convenient parking, many simply drive elsewhere. That means lost sales for the small businesses that work hard year-round to serve our community. It also impacts the employees who rely on those businesses for their jobs and income to support their families.

Our local businesses sponsor community events, donate to fundraisers, support local schools and organizations, and help make Preston the incredible town we all love. They deserve the opportunity to serve their customers during these busy summer weeks.

If you're planning to save a parade spot, please consider waiting until closer to the event or using parking that doesn't take away from customer access to local businesses.

A small act of consideration can make a big difference. Let's continue supporting the businesses that support Preston every day. ❤️
