This Saturday in Princeton, all day! Princeton is HOPPING right now, even if the locals are traveling. Back to school energy of course but have you noticed all the new stores? The Graduate Hotel and the new stores are bringing welcome new foot traffic but please don’t forget the local shops who’ve been here since before all that sidewalk work and tree chopping on Witherspoon. (Those new trees are growing quickly thank goodness) Charbellem has a great view of all the progress on their corner of Witherspoon and Spring Streets. Owner Sabra Albert was one of my earliest supporters, always generous with suggestions, advice and space for me to display my designs, even before she had her own store. With Karen and Katrina, this trio knows how to help anyone find the fit and style that feels right for you. Whether you’re shopping or just looking for a little conversation, Charbellem has what you need. And don’t forget Tiger Treats next door. I’ll have a big bowl of Swedish fish ready for you too!

Sometimes it takes a few variations to hit the right combo when I rework a vintage piece. These three vintage fish pendants have had a couple different variations but I like where they are now. Articulated gold tone and enamel on chain with a lobster clasp; gold tone with jade chips on gold chain and then articulated silver tone with white enamel on leather cord. Each fish remains the star of the show. Around 17” long. DM for details.

TIGER LOVE - Princeton, Auburn, Clemson, Depauw and more - it’s a beautiful animal and a great mascot. I’ll keep it local with these vintage resin puffy hearts (c.1970s) in marbled orange and black. This little fella is really cute. Plated brass fish with orange enamel scales, swimming here with a Swarovski crystal charm, a sweet baby blue enamel seashell and small star. Let’s go to the beach! I’ve been pulling together all my favorite seaside combos so that summer never ends. Collected shells, vintage and new stones and pendants of all sizes. The beauty of summer necklaces are the memories you have while wearing them. Some you layer, some you never take off, some you lose while jumping the waves. It happens. Thank you summer, we love you so much.
