Pastimes Books & Antiques Pastimes was owned and operated by two sisters & their families. After 24 years, the business closed 9/1/24.

Permanently closed.

Mary & Claire Elliott and Sharon & Ken Kallestad began this combination of books, antiques and gifts in 2000 in two turn-of-the-century buildings. We sell a wide variety of new and used books, vintage linens and dishes, rustic antiques for your garden and home, a wide array of kitchen items, signs and pictures and the largest selection of locally designed Williraye collectibles in the area. We als

o feature greeting cards and journals and educational toys. Visit our large sale room and seasonal displays and watch our inventory grow and change on a daily basis.

We will miss being your neighbor! So glad we got to spread the love around.

Thank you to Pastimes Books & Antiques for their recent donation of lots great books and fun items! We are cataloging some books for our collection (including the ones in this picture), using some for the Christmas in Princeton 2024 children's book giveaway, and putting the rest in the Friends of the Princeton Library ongoing book sale.
We will miss having Pastimes as our neighbor and wish them the best of luck in their new chapter.

Claire & I were so happy that the Friends of the Caestecker Library were able to be the recipients of this donation ~ especially since we have so many good memories of attending book sales over the years! (Special thanks to Vicki Duhr for coordinating.)
