I have always dreamed of a wildflower garden in our yard. We started making this happen last spring by laying down cardboard and wood chips to kill the grass and prepare the ground. Today, Brian and I got to work planting the seeds. After some discussion about the best approach, drawing on what I read online and Brian's thoughts, we set to work. I know you want to know... we went with Brian's thoughts!

We made channels in the existing wood chips, added potting soil, watered thoroughly, and then scattered the seeds on top of the soil. The wood chips had been so effective at keeping the grass from invading the area that we felt this might be the best method. After scattering the seed, I walked down each row to press the seeds a bit into the soil. Now, I hope the critters don't eat the seed! See the last image for my vision of what I hope is to come!

Adding Low Oil Pressure Safety Stop to Kohler 7000

I felt like the Kt745 Command 7000 Series 747 cc engine on my Bad Boy Zero Turn mower needed a low oil pressure safety shut off. Earning 1% Per Week

Today I received my 50k coin from LST, which means I've made $50,000 using the framework since January. The goal is to make 1% per week using only 2 hours of effort. 1% doesn't sound like much, but when you compound it weekly, it works out to be 68% return in a year, which is life-changing. Blackberry maintenance – 7/11/2026

I cleaned up the blackberry bushes by weeding under them, cutting off the floricanes, and then tieing up and pruning the primacanes. Many of these plants were new this year so they didn't produce, but I'm hopeful next year will be a great year for fruit production.

I was very happy to see some of the melons are starting to sprout now We have received over 2 inches of rain in the past 24 hours The peppers and tomatoes are growing bigger.
