When Sam Walton opened the doors to the first Walmart in 1962, his goal was to save people money so they can live better. Through Facebook, we’re able to talk to you, find out what’s on your mind and let you know what we’re up to. It’s just another way we’re working to give the millions of families who shop at Walmart more of what they love—ways to save money and live better.

This week some changes will be more evident on the grocery side of the store, as we are entering the phase of our project where our freezer aisles are being completely replaced with brand new freezers. The first aisle with the ice cream section will be impacted for several days as it is demo’d then replaced. You may have already noticed some new cases back by the dairy department.

We will have several more runs of refrigerated cases being replaced in the next 6 weeks. The new cases are engineered to run cleaner and more efficiently than the ones we currently have which have reached end of life.

We appreciate your patience in the meantime, and we will strive to meet your product requests as we journey through this project. The end result will be a better selection of merchandise and a better shopping experience. Thank you!
