A little house, a little smoke, a little stillness. 🏠✨
Introducing Push Pull Products Incense Pots — hand-poured mortar incense burners shaped like tiny houses, cottages and a lodge. Light your incense and watch the smoke drift up through the chimney, slow and quiet, like the end of a long day settling into place.
Not burning incense? Let it live on your shelf as part of a miniature streetscape, alongside your other small favorite things from our shop.
Each piece is cast one by one in wooden molds, so the wood grain and natural color variation come through in every pot — no two are exactly alike. Glass and metal are set into the windows by hand, giving each “house” its own quiet character. Open mesh windows allow for air to flow in when burning incense.
Choose from these exquisite designs, each with its own window and base:
🟢 Green House — red, green & blue glass / light green base
🔴 Red House — clear glass / red brick-colored base
🔵 Blue House — brass window / gray-blue base
⚪ Natural House — large clear glass / mortar base
⚫ Sumi Cottage — glass / stainless steel mesh windows / brass chimney / black charcoal body & base
⚪ Natural Cottage — glass / stainless steel mesh windows / brass chimney / mortar body & base
⚪ Natural Lodge — glass / stainless steel mesh windows / brass chimney / mortar body & base
Made by hand from start to finish — design, production, and packing — by craftsman Nobuhiro Sato at Pull Push Products., a small independent studio in Kyoto working with mortar, wood molds, and time.
Note: because it’s mortar, a little surface powder is normal — rinse gently with water if it bothers you (no scrubbing). Small chips, air bubbles, or color variation are part of the material’s character, not a flaw. Incense not included; cone or stick incense works beautifully (break large sticks into shorter pieces for a full, even burn).
We also have planters and a candle holder that are exceptionally beautiful. Stay tuned for those images too!
