Backcountry kits are one of those things you hope you never need — but when you do, you really want the right stuff in there.

Join Don to build a kit that actually makes sense for your adventures, with guidance along the way so you’re not just tossing random supplies into a bag and calling it good.

Registration is free, spots are limited, and you only pay for what you choose to add to your kit.

THE CUSTOMER-TO-CREW PIPELINE IS COMPLETE 🚨

Meet Brady — longtime Secondhand Summit customer turned official Gear Wrangler.

He’s a teacher, game developer, backpacker, professional tinkerer, and exactly the kind of person who can spend an unreasonable amount of time talking about gear with us… which is probably how we ended up here.

He also likes to document some of his trips, so every now and then you might catch some trail footage of his adventures!

We could tell you more, but honestly, the trail name “Sumo” deserves to be discovered via swipe. 😂

We’re stoked to have him join the Revival Crew. Come give Brady a hard time next time you’re in. 🤘

One of our favorite days of the summer is almost here. ☀️

Huge thanks to The Thirsty Lab & Wellness Bar for hosting another Annual Block Party! We’ll be there alongside an amazing group of local businesses, with cold pours from Seven Saws Brewing Co., live music from the Junk Puppets, great food from Brian and grumpysdogs, and plenty of fun.

Ever had an idea for a piece of gear you wanted to make? Or a repair you’ve been meaning to tackle? Bring it. 🤝

We’re hosting our first MYOG (Make Your Own Gear) Craft Night—an evening to work on your own projects alongside other people who enjoy creating, repairing, and customizing outdoor gear.

This isn’t a class or a workshop. There won’t be lessons or a planned project. Think of it more like a community sewing circle for outdoor gear.

Bring your own project, your own ideas, and whatever skills you have. Don’s happy to answer questions, share tips, and troubleshoot when he can, but the goal is simply to make things together and meet people who enjoy the same hobbies.

Wishing everyone a great kickoff to summer! ☀️🛶

Summer is all about getting outside. Between holiday weekends and our guided trips, our shop hours may occasionally vary throughout the season.

We’ll always share schedule updates in advance on social media, our website, and Google.

Thank you for supporting our small business and the outdoor community we’re building. As a small team, occasional schedule adjustments are part of the adventure.

We’ll be closed this weekend (Saturday & Sunday) as we head up to Exeter, NH for the Alewife Festival.

The festival celebrates the annual return of the alewives (river herring)— one of New England’s wild seasonal migrations — along with local conservation, education, art, and community organizations.

Always happy to support events centered around conservation, education, and the outdoors.

We’re open Thursday, 5/7 and Friday 5/8🌲
