Omg, I just got my package from Ashley & Todd at Full Moon Stone Co. and I’m so blown away. I’m not sure what it says about my gemstone addiction, when my ā€œDealerā€ starts buying me souvenirs on their travels (these guys are based in Colorado). All I can say is ā€œthank you for the thoughtful giftā€šŸ™šŸ’—šŸ’—šŸ’— My mom really did name me after this songā¤ļøšŸ„°ā¤ļø

In addition to the cool denim bag…look at all this other stuff!! Half of it if free gifts! Everything is .925 silver. Just amazing. Look at this! You can’t get it this affordable without buying bulk overseas (I know cause I have 600 gemstone dealer Facebook friends šŸ˜‚). These are real emeralds. Real gemstones. Please join the community my friends. Everyone is appreciated, everyone is a model, everyone is celebrated at Full moon Stone Co. Type in ā€œFull Moon Stone Co. est 2013 Facebook Groupā€

Just a quick tip if you’re struggling with your sharpie washing away while you’re grinding, try smearing a bit of chapstick over it. Helps the cause!

Holy Hanna! Still cutting and grinding these beauties 🪷🪷🪷 My blue glass selection is wide so it’s a blast to dig into it and select these perfect little treasures. The count has increased to 14 in total🤘and I couldn’t be more pleasedšŸ˜ so gratefulšŸ™

Btw, that heavily textured glass was a beast! I couldn’t cut it by hand. Like literally, I scored it and it refused to break with my running pliers….So I used my ring saw.

This time last year, I was struggling to break free of an abusive relationship. I had been physically isolated, mentally r***d, emotionally broken down, financially stripped and just couldn’t do it anymore. I had to find a way out! I started listening to a podcast called ā€œbreakdown to break thruā€ by Lisa A. Romano Breakthrough Life Coach and it changed my life. I started her 12 week break thru program about the same time I started stained glass & finally got a restraining order.

Today I cut a check for a down payment on a 10 day spiritual healing retreat to Peru. And it just struck me, that summer of last year- I was scared to even go to FleetFarm.

Glass, art, Lisa, my friends along the way, all brought me here. There is a strange symbolism in fracturing pieces of glass, stained to stand apart on their own. Only to be joined together again with other broken pieces to create a New work of beauty & hope, radiating color and light.

With that said, I think it’s only fitting to use the money I earn through my artwork to fund this trip. Thank you to each and every one of you for supporting me & my boys, my artwork, and contributing to this beautiful new lifeā¤ļø

I am free!

Before I became a Stained Glass Artist, I was a professional face painter. Due to my schedule & shift in passion/focus, I don’t do it very often anymore…but every now and then I pull out my paints and create some fast smiles! It’s funny, I never really realized how opposite these two art forms are, they really couldn’t be more different from each other!

Glass= meticulously planned, slow, tedious, precise, dangerous chemicals & materials, lasts forever

Face painting= often off the cuff by request, fast paced, high energy, food grade materials, lasts one day(or less depending on the kid)šŸ˜‚
