Good afternoon friends💚,
It's been too long for an update. Health wise, I am pretty much the same. No worse, no better.

I have a minor surgery planned at the end of May for carpal tunnel, shouldn't be a big deal. I'm working on getting things in place to make it easy to run the shop and take care of home too.

I did take on a 1 day a week "job"; but I love it so much it's not a job to me. BLISS of Lunenburg, Inc ❤️

At home: we decided to try starting a garden from seeds. Needless to say, there's plants in every window and they all want to be outside 😂. I'm hoping to finish up some projects this weekend so that I can start transitioning them to raised beds and a garden plot over the next few weeks.
We also decided to try chickens again. Instead of 20+, we compromised on 8. Four Sapphire Gems and four Buff Orpingtons. We're excited to have them, they're so entertaining.

The shop looks like a disaster, but it's part of my creative process 🤯😁🤣. It took me awhile to get motivated and now I have a clear direction that I am going in, so bear with me a little while longer.

I would love to say we're opening on X date, but truthfully I can't pin a date until I get it 100% in order.
I apologize for the delay, but I'm a perfectionist at heart and it's a problem sometimes 😉🤣🤣🤣.

Momma said.... we're having a PARTY 🥳 when we return, so I will post ASAP for y'all to come celebrate 🎉 with us.

Hey y'all,
I got a good day at the shop and here's a few new items for you to peek 🫣 at.
We're beginning to wind down on appointments and I will be getting to the shop more consistently.
My back is healing, there are still movements that throw me off, but I am able to sit, stand, and lay without being in pain. I walk a lot. So, I am going to keep going until we're ready 😉.
We will post a date as soon as we can.

Hey y'all,
It's been too long, but I finally got 2 days in the shop.
Doesn't look like I have done a lot but it's been a lot of little things.
Washing dishes, cleaning items, packing stuff away, reorganizing behind the counter, etc.
I can show you a few things I did stop & take pictures of...
We're taking life one day at a time for the moment. We will announce an opening date once we get some things accomplished. Thank you for your continued support and encouragement ❤️.

Hi y'all,
Sorry for the late & overdue post...
My back is sensitive and gets tired, but it's manageable.
We got back on the road Sunday and we have been on the road everyday getting appointments taken care of and errands completed. The goal is to wrap up by the end of Sunday.
Our plans are to get back to the shop and restart the transition from Christmas to spring and Easter 🐰 🐣.
We don't have a date for reopening, but we are going to celebrate 🥳 with a party when we have a date!

To keep me inspired, I would love for you to post a picture of a treasure you purchased and styled in your home.
A dear client sent me pictures this week and I was pleasantly surprised and filled with joy. Thank you for sharing & thinking of me ❤️.

Quick update:
I did my best not to overdo today.
I'm achy and sore. More muscle than bone, at least that's what I think...
Just made sure everyone was fed and the dishes were kept clean.
Going to take it easy tomorrow too.

Hey y'all,
We all got out today. Everyone needed a break from the same 4 walls.
When we got home, I managed to get the van stuck in the driveway 😂. Thank goodness it's at home and off the road.
I'm not going to lie. I'm hard headed. Instead of leaving it alone until tomorrow, I tried to dig it out a bit & doggone it... my back is bothering me. So, I will be resting tomorrow...
Lord, I am praying for warmer weather for all of us 🙏.
I will get back to the shop as soon as I can get back on the road.
Stay safe and warm through this next round of weather.

Well....
I got a few things done on the computer today.
Took care of the kitties.
Thankfully, got the water running in the little kitchen area. I was afraid I would have a busted pipe.
Visited with the neighbors that have been taking care of the kitties for me.
BLISS of Lunenburg, Inc , Clarence and Lena, dropped off lunch. Picked up stuff & brought me a new milk can for my collection 😉.
Then I started a project I have wanted to do for awhile. A plate, gallery wall... I'm not done yet but it's growing on me 😉.

Good afternoon y'all,
I had a little bit of slipping but I got the van onto the ice...
Made it to the shop. Catalpa Ln is considered a private road, therefore, it hasn't been scraped. Both entrances have a thick, almost oversized speed bump, across them.
It might be April before we get it cleared. 😔.
All I can do at this point is start working one corner of the shop mess 🫟 that I made prior to the storm. 💪💪💪

I'm proud and excited to introduce you to a dear friend from back in the day (that's high school days 😉).
Heather Hoy is a joy and I love her creative energy! Please read her story and welcome her to the shop. We're looking forward to the weather letting up so I can get these darling hats here for you to purchase when we reopen.
