This is what a Goose morning looks like: neighbors lining up for good finds, and every purchase keeping clothes and treasures out of the landfill while supporting our community at St. Martin’s Church. 💛

Behind every rack and shelf at The Thrifty Goose is a whole community. Our donations come from the parish, from neighbors across the extended community, and from customers who keep coming back.

Volunteers give their time to turn those donations into a shop worth browsing, with quality pre-owned finds at reasonable prices. And the proceeds? They support the operations and outreach work of St. Martin’s Church. That’s who we are and why we do it: to support the Church, the community, and the environment. Thank you for being part of the flock.

Meet Lexi. She’s deep in the sorting room, turning bags of donations into racks you’ll actually want to shop. Sorting is the quiet heartbeat of the Goose. Nothing hits the floor without it.

Thank you, Lexi, for the sharp eye and the steady hands.

Wonder where your donations go once you drop them off? At the Goose, it’s always a question of where it’s needed the most.

Maybe it’s needed at the local community closet. Maybe it’s held for someone who’s been searching for it. Maybe a local organization has someone who needs it. Or maybe it goes on our shelves at a price that’s actually fair, supporting the missions of St. Martin’s.

We measure where it’s needed the most and it stays right here in Providence, helping the people around us rather than ending up in a landfill. Thrifting isn’t only for people in need. It’s for anyone who’d rather spend less and waste less. We’re here for all of them. Everything stays local. Everything gets used.

We are grateful, always, for your donation. Thank you.

The Goose is open! Doors swing wide at 10 this morning.

Come see what the Goslings have set out. New arrivals, a few things we’re already attached to, and a rack you’ll definitely dig through.

St. Martin’s Church, Providence. Bring a tote.
