We went into our closure with big plans and very good intentions… and somehow came out with fewer boxes checked than expected. So as we reopen, please know the shop is officially in work-in-progress mode.
That said, we are so incredibly grateful. December was wildly successful, and the night of our Christmas Open House was truly awesome. For those who may not know, all sales from that night went directly to Dallas. She has a dream vacation in mind, and as a thank you for everything she does, every dollar from that night went straight to her fund.
I truly couldn’t do this without her. She complements me so well, sees my vision, and helps execute it in the very best way. Even outside of the shop, she shows up — this past weekend she jumped in to help me with some non-work projects without hesitation. Her willingness to step up and help with whatever I need is pretty amazing. And on a more personal note, I absolutely adore the relationship she and Phoenyx have created — the closest thing to an older sister Phoenyx will ever have. The love and generosity shown that night (and always) meant more to us both than words can say.
Honestly… the time off was amazing. We went on a family cruise, I spent time with some of my favorite little humans, and it gave us space to breathe, reflect, and dream a little bigger. That pause mattered.
During the closure, we spent time really considering what we want for this space and for the shop. It will still feel familiar — the Four Ways Beautiful you’ve gotten to know and expect — but we’re adding more personal touches, more experiences, and things you can only get by shopping in store. We want to lean harder into what makes us different. We’re also so excited to start planning and offering spring porches.
And be watching for details on our annual Galentine’s event, upcoming cookie classes, and other workshops and hands-on experiences we can’t wait to share.
Thank you for your patience, your grace, and for supporting Four Ways Beautiful through the messy middle. The heart is here, the intentions are good, and we’re building something incredible! ~Teramie
