Our scented candle department just expanded again to add this great collection from California. PF Candle uses 100% soy wax for a super clean burn and their complex fragrance mixes really take you out of the everyday and transform your environment.

I burn test every candle line I choose for Arcadia the way my dad taught me; I’m the son and grandson of candlemakers and my dad actually got his masters in Chemical Engineering from Brooklyn Poly so that he could improve their candles - so I know my candles 🤣.

Wild Herb Tonic is definitely my personal favorite - refreshing, woodsy and clean. The fragrance easily filled our great room despite the 14’ ceilings without becoming overwhelming. It’s an embarrassment of riches! We’ve filled all our veggie beds and still have 26 more organic tomato seedlings that are homeless and VERY ready to go in the ground. Fully hardened off, very sturdy and healthy, we have 3 Purple Cherokee, an heirloom thats meaty and sweet, 6 Amish Paste for those who want tomatoes for sauce, roasting and canning, and 17 (!!) Indigo Cherry, a gorgeous black and red striped cherry tomato that is so delicious we often eat them while harvesting. All are indeterminate so they will keep growing and producing fruit until frost.

Swing by the shop today; Arcadia is at 131 Commercial St on the West End, with a convenient “loading zone” parking spot directly in front of the shop. Once these are gone they are gone until next spring. $5 each, no shipping, no online sales, just come over, choose your plants and go plant them. Some of these are almost a foot tall alteady!

One of the many signs of spring in Provincetown is the return of Arcadia’s nesting sparrows, who build a nest every year tucked into the side of our gallery windowsill AC. They’ve been building an especially large nest this year - and lots of “construction debris” lands all around the store front. It’s way quieter than more typical construction in town though 😉 If you’re on Good Templar Place, the alley between Arcadia and Joon Bar, just look up - you cant miss it.

It’s whale season once again, and our driftwood whale maker has just delivered a stack of these one of a kind, affordable carvings. Made from driftwood collected from across New England, no two are alike, but all of them are individually photographed so you can choose which of the 47 whales currently in stock you want to adopt.

Treated with oil, they can go right back outside if you like. Put your house numbers on them. Hang a pod up in your outdoor shower or on an outside wall of your house or garage. They also look amazing above a fireplace, bed, or couch. There are sizes and prices for everyone.

This magnificent blown glass bowl from Alabama is now on its way to Naples, Florida to grace the living room of new customers of Arcadia visiting Provincetown this week. The water bowl collection includes 3 color options in three sizes, starting at $1195.

They were initially going to choose the aquamarine before deciding, with the help of several other customers who chimed in with their strongly held opinions, to go with the green topaz.
