Erin and I made it to New York for a quick getaway to see Oh, Mary for Bowen Yang's opening night! We have both been fans for a long time and have thoroughly enjoyed the connection to Bowen and Matt since the Las Culturistas award. We've never been here together and other than protests, I haven't been here since my 30th birthday! And (covers q***r face in shame) I've never seen a Broadway Show here, only when tours made it to Boston. Thanks Bowen Yang for making us more cultured.

A beautiful evening on the stoop. Our feminist reading was dedicated to Gloria Steinem. We read her 1970 Vassar commencement speech. I highly recommend you read it too. Thank you to our community who show up when being together is the best place we can be.

Thank you, Gloria Steinem, for a lifetime of feminism, sisterhood, bravery, and example. Jo and I went to the 50th anniversary of Ms. Magazine in 2023 at Smith College. If you are in the Northampton area, go visit her archives there they are beautifully curated and tell our collective story. She believed in shared leadership and mutual exchange, let us keep deconstructing hierarchy and dismantling patriarchy. Tomorrow's Front Stoop Feminist Reading will be dedicated to her. Bring her words or your most feminist writing inspired by her. See you Friday at 5:30pm.

Getting to meet q***r people from all over the world and learning what you are doing for our community is motivating and so encouraging! Hail Mary LGBTQ+ Piercing🏳️‍🌈 is a piercing studio in Minnesota dedicated to the safety of LGBTQ+ folx. Nobody should experience hate in vulnerable moments and this rockstar is ensuring that today. It's also so important to understand our histories, including that Womencrafts used to pierce ears! We also spoke about how doctors at Fenway Community Health did piercings during the height of the AIDS epidemic. Why do we say support q***r businesses, q***r makers, and q***r providers? This is why.
