The Spinning Siren

The Spinning Siren Welcome to The Spinning Siren and Fairy Tale Fibers. For all your pretty 3d printed accessories! I finished and told my husband i needed my own fiber bunny.

Angorable came about when i was lucky enough to spin some angora fiber from a friend. I looked ad found one within hours. Its unusual in my area. Ive been searching for more sense and no luck. Because i found her so fast and easy i called her Serendipity. Serendipity means a "fortunate happenstance" or "pleasant surprise" because she came up right as i searched. Serendipity is a Ruby eyed white (REW) French Angora (FA) She is roughly 2 years old and purebred. In February I was offered a English Angora buck named Hercules. He is unshowable due to a white toenail but that makes him a perfect Fiber bunny!! He is a lilac boy. Which means his fiber is silvery grey and white near the skin. His face has some brownish bits around his face and he is oh so very sweet. It just went crazy after that. From one to 50, back down to 8 up to 30. A cross country move and more. I love my fluffs.

I am pushing the limits of my fold bobbins. Im going to have to ply this on my 6!

I'm a few days late for the first day of fall. But I am moving a bit slower then I like to! BUT I love fall. Like I really love fall. I love the colors, the crisp air, the holidays. The coziness. It makes me love to curl up with a blanket, a book, and some wool.
I dyed up over 2 lbs of wool in fall colors including halloween, fall and some deep rich colors. Ill be able to sit under my blankets and enjoy for a good amount of time.
I hope you feel inspired to settle into the coziness of the season!

This fractle is a new color gradient we haven't used yet. Testing out its strength, and it holds. This one is a glittery blue green mix.

All this to get one color right. Can you guess which is the braid I was aiming for and which are my oopsies?
