🐾 Training Myth: Debunked

REALITY: Nope. It's rarely about attitude, and almost ALWAYS about communication. Just like people, dogs learn at different speeds. When a dog seems "stuck" on something, it's usually one of a few possible reasons:

🐾 They don't know exactly what's being asked of them. (The task wasn't broken down into small enough steps).
🐾 They're not getting clear feedback on when they've got it right. (We have plenty of treats and toys here to help with rewarding 😉)
🐾 Something in the environment is distracting or overwhelming them.
🐾 Or, always worth ruling out, there's a physical reason. A dog with hip discomfort, for example, may genuinely struggle with something like "sit," and no amount of repetition will fix that.

Remember, a dog can only work with the information that is being given to them! Always strive for better communication, have loads of patience, and try to look at things from your dog's perspective!
