Pulaski’s finest just caught three thieves that have been stealing off the back dock like professionals. They would park, jump out, rake everything off of the dock, throw it in their car and be gone all in 90 seconds. Tonight, they felt like taking their time so we finally got them. Thank you to our law enforcement for arriving quickly and takin care of business!

God hit me with a revelation today. We always want to know why stuff happens and understand it; like why the neighbor shot Mark Fields, a guy in Lawrenceburg with a family and everything going for him.

But in order to know, we would have to know all the trauma and pain that the neighbor had been through. In order to understand, we would have to feel that pain.

Thank You, God, that we are on a need-to-know basis because I don’t want to carry the weight of all his trauma and pain.

Once we know something, even if we give it to God, it’s still hanging on the wall, still available to be perused if we happen to venture there again. Even if we lock it away, it can come back in an instant, uninvited, and make us bleed internally again.

God has given us the freedom of not knowing everything; not feeling everything, not experiencing everyone’s trauma and pain*.

All we really need to do is trust that HE knows the reasons and the purposes of all things and that He will work it all out. In the words of Martin Luther King, Jr., “Free at last, free at last. Thank God Almighty, I’m free at last!”

*There are exceptions like ppl that are super sensitive to others but that’s a gift that is meant for proper use.

The sidewalk sale will be made up of pallets of untouched boxes from the back. Some stuff might not be worth 91 cents but a lot of it will be worth WAY more. It’s a huge treasure hunt, a digger’s paradise.
