Now that things are winding down, the Fishheads would like to thank some folks who have been a huge help over the past couple of months! Taking the leap into a new business - and doing it during Pulaskiβs salmon season was a little crazy, but itβs been a lot of fun and weβve learned a great deal.
First of all, thank you to our long time friend and graphic artist Mike Lipkin for helping us to tweak our designs and make them work. And to Becky Manchester (Made with Love) for helping us get started with the printing part of production.
Brian and Marylou Leary at the Little Red Wagon were instrumental in helping us get started by partnering with us at their location and by marketing our businesses together. Their encouragement was much appreciated, and we had fun figuring out what worked while hanging out on one of the most beautiful spots on the Salmon River.
Brittany at the Sugaree did so much to promote our business and our products. Her mentorship and support, as well as sharing her location on the river did so much to help increase our confidence and knowledge, and to help us figure out our next steps.
Speaking of next steps, weβll be setting up an online store very soon. We hope to expand beyond Salmon River fish species eventually, but Pulaski is home! (Make sure to follow our page so youβll be up to date on our progress.)
We are grateful to Fishville Antique Emporium for allowing us to take over part of their parking lot, and John Parker (NAPA) for allowing us to set up on his property.
Thank you to all of the visitors - both fisherpersons and spectators - who came to us for souvenir t-shirts and stickers. We met so many great people from all over!
Last but not least, we want to thank our local community for all working together to survive Salmon season π and for coming out to support us!
