It has been a little over a year now since Ryan Trahan & Haley Pham stopped by Doppio Bunny - Wi******er and featured us in a video that now has over 3.8 MILLION VIEWS!!😵💫💗
Yes, you did read that right, I did say Ryan Trahan & Haley Pham, and also, we’ll just call it what it is, Rexton and I did basically kidnap them 😂 (but I will also clarify they did come willingly)! 😂
If you have already seen the video and are familiar with Ryan’s 50 States in 50 Days challenge / St. Jude’s fundraiser from last summer you may already understand why it took so long for me to publicly address this, as our involvement in the video had almost everything to do with my father’s liver cancer diagnosis in June of last year (about a month before their visit).
I noticed Ryan & Haley had a habit of featuring coffee shops in their daily videos - with that knowledge, ya girl had a pipe dream that if maybe, just maybe, I could get Ryan to come to my coffee shop we could get exposure / better access to the care that my father desperately needed.
When there’s a will there’s a way! Call it destiny, call it divine intervention, call it whatever you want, but Ryan & Haley wound-up in Wi******er, Va and we couldn’t let that opportunity be passed up!
I cannot express this enough, Ryan & Haley are absolutely the sweetest most genuine people. What you see on camera is what you get in real life. They spent so much time with us chatting about real life things. Ryan suggested we tag the link to my dad’s gofundme which was more support than I could’ve ever dreamed of.
Unfortunately, my father’s cancer progressed very rapidly and he passed roughly 2 weeks after. With that being said, my family, my father, and I were absolutely astounded by the love and support we received during that short time.
Thank you so much for all who supported financially, mentally, emotionally then and the year that followed. ❤️
I’ll end by saying, if you love Doppio Bunny, please know it exists from the work ethic, grit, dedication, and love for others instilled in me by my father since I was a little girl.
