More facts supporting the need for data centers (rather than residents and municipalities) to pay for the infrastructure for their increased power needs. Further, since their needs far exceed those of normal citizens and other types of service providers like hospitals, schools, corporate offices, restaurants, retail stores, they should be charged a premium for usage.

Per this article, "A major factor behind the skyrocketing demand [for energy] is the rapid innovation in artificial intelligence, which is driving the construction of large warehouses of computing infrastructure that require exponentially more power than traditional data centers. AI is also part of a huge scale-up of cloud computing. Tech firms like Amazon, Apple, Google, Meta and Microsoft are scouring the nation for sites for new data centers...
"The proliferation of crypto-mining, in which currencies like bitcoin are transacted and minted, is also driving data center growth."

Artificial intelligence, data centers and the boom in clean-tech manufacturing are pushing America’s aging power grid to the brink. Utilities can’t keep up.

Once again, one of our excellent helpers has school conflicts. So we need someone part time to feed, water, clean stalls, drop hay, do blankets, hoof polish and various other tasks (not all, but some, every day; priority is feeding) as needed to care for horses (4 now). 3-4 late afternoons or evenings per week. Right now Friday, Saturday and Sunday are available. Once you start we could work out a different schedule. Up to 2 hours per day max. Need own transportation and some experience with horses. Small family horse farm seeks help feeding 4 - 5 horses and other barn maintenance, to include bringing horses in to feed, blanketing, putting them out, cleaning stalls, replenishing hay and water, as needed, and other occasional tasks. Bring in, feed, blanket as needed, put back out, clean stalls, buckets, restock water and hay and other odd jobs as time allows. Experienced preferred.
