Vassey Nursery LLC Puyallup’s Best Kept Secret! We are a family-owned operation with a reputation for high quality plant materials and friendly, helpful staff.

Our garden center offers plants for Northwest gardens, frost-proof pottery, garden ornaments, fountains and statuary. We are well known in the spring for our homegrown hanging baskets, geraniums, and tomatoes. These items are second to none. Visit us for annuals, perennials, vegetables, blueberry bushes, fruit trees, and more. Dramatic fall color and our annual fall sale are a must for September and October. As winter approaches, November and December bring spectacular and unique winter holiday hanging baskets.

If you have a Vassey Nursery gift certificate this message is for you. Vassey Nursery is permanently closed, however, in the month of August 2026, you may drop off your gift certificate in the mailbox of 2424 Tacoma Rd. E. You MUST have written your address on the back of the certificate and the name on the gift certificate is the person to which a check will be issued. Be certain your first and last name are clearly written along with your address.

What do we still have?… A few big trees like wildfire, black gum, thunder, cloud, flowering, plum, Princeton sentry, maiden hair ginkgo tree, Vanessa, Persian, Ironwood, Armstrong, gold maple, red oak, flowering crab, apple. We also have some Spiria, sour wood, witch Hazel, Golden Beach,  and a few gift shop items, including one display table.
