📣 A QUICK NOTE FROM 2 CHICKS LIQUIDATION — HOW OUR PRICING WORKS
We want to take a moment to explain how our pricing works at 2 Chicks Liquidation, especially after seeing some comments about our prices and comparisons to prices found at other stores or online.
We are a liquidation store. We purchase pallets of customer returns, overstock, shelf pulls and other merchandise originating from major retailers. When we purchase a load, we receive a manifest or pricing information that reflects the retail pricing associated with that merchandise.
From there, we typically price our merchandise approximately 30–40% below the regular retail price, depending on what we paid for the load, the condition of the merchandise and other factors.
We also want to make something very clear:
We understand that you may occasionally find the same product cheaper somewhere else.
There are thousands of retailers, online sellers and marketplaces selling products at different prices every single day. We simply cannot compare every item in our store against every retailer or online seller in the marketplace.
Our pricing is based on the retail pricing associated with the merchandise and the retailer/source from which our load originated. We cannot take another seller’s lower price and then take an additional 30–40% off that price. That isn’t how we purchased the merchandise or how our liquidation pricing works.
For example, if the regular retail price associated with an item in our load is $100, we base our discount on that $100 retail price. If another retailer or online seller happens to have that same item for $65, that doesn’t mean we can automatically price ours 30–40% below $65. We still paid for our merchandise based on the load we purchased.
The same applies to temporary sales, coupons, clearance prices, promotional ads and limited-time specials. Major retailers change their prices constantly. An item may be on sale this week and back to its regular price next week. We cannot continually change our pricing to match every temporary promotion happening somewhere else.
And we completely understand that sometimes another store or online seller will have a better deal. If you find a better price that works for you, we absolutely understand! We encourage everyone to shop around, compare prices and make the purchasing decision that is best for them.
What we don’t want is for people to assume that because they found one item cheaper somewhere else, 2 Chicks is intentionally overpricing merchandise or trying to take advantage of our customers. That simply isn’t the case.
We are a small, locally owned business. We pay for every pallet and every load that comes through our doors, along with all the expenses that come with operating a storefront. Our goal is to provide our community with good merchandise at fair liquidation prices and meaningful savings whenever possible.
We know liquidation shopping isn’t going to be for everyone, and that’s okay. ❤️
We welcome respectful questions and constructive feedback. What we ask in return is that our page remain respectful. Repeated negative or disrespectful comments made simply to tear down our business are unnecessary and may be removed.
If our store isn’t the right fit for you, we completely respect your decision to shop elsewhere. We simply ask that you give our small business the same respect in return.
And to the MANY customers who shop with us, follow our page, share our posts, recommend us to friends and family, and continue supporting 2 Chicks Liquidation:
❤️ THANK YOU! ❤️
We truly appreciate every one of you and wouldn’t be here without your continued support.
