These low-profile mounts install directly onto the dovetail, so you can mount your optic without adding a separate Picatinny rail.

After machining, each slide stop is finished by hand to break the sharp edges, improve its appearance, and prepare it for the next stage of production.

Making one slide stop look good is only the beginning. The real challenge is making the next one look just as good, followed by every other part in the pile.

One part proves the setup. A whole batch proves the process.

Ditch the factory MIM. If you're running a Girsan 2311, the extractor is usually the first weak point to give out.

We just dropped our new Practical Extractor specifically for the 9mm 2311. We machine these in-house from solid carbon steel, no brittle molded parts here. We also fixed the massive stress riser found on factory parts by machining a smooth radius at the hook, so it won’t snap under pressure.

People usually get excited about barrels, triggers, and sights.

Meanwhile, the 1911 ejector is over here quietly doing its job thousands and thousands of times. It's one of those parts that doesn't get much attention until it stops doing what it's supposed to do.

That's why we machine our ejectors from solid bar stock instead of using cast or MIM components. It's a small part, but it takes a beating over the life of the pistol.

Reliability starts with quality components, and sometimes the little parts matter the most.
