🧼 BEHIND THE SCENTS: Same Recipe, Different Results!

One of the things that absolutely fascinates me about soap making is how the exact same recipe, using the same oils and fragrance, can produce such dramatically different results depending on HOW you make it!

Check out this little experiment we've been working on! 👀

🧼 BACK ROWS: Cold Process Soap
🧼 FRONT ROWS: Hot Process Soap

Same ingredients. Same fragrance. Two completely different soap-making methods!

Look at the differences in color, texture and appearance! It's amazing how the soap-making process itself can change the finished product.

None of these batches are fully cured yet, so I'm really anxious to see how they look in another month. Will the colors change? Will the differences become more noticeable or less? Time will tell!

This is one of the reasons I never get tired of making soap. There's always something new to learn, experiment with and discover. ❤️

🍺🥨 PROST! OCTOBERFEST BEGINS TODAY IN MUNICH!

Today marks the opening of the world-famous Octoberfest in Munich, Germany — and what better time to celebrate our Oktoberfest Fragrance Oil!

The original Munich Octoberfest is the world’s largest folk festival, and this year's celebration runs from September 19 through October 4.
