We’re finalists! 🔥

Tamaulipeka has been named a 2026 Startup CPG Shelfie Awards Finalist in the Hot Sauce category!

This one feels especially full circle for me. Way back in 2021–22, I was Startup CPG’s NYC Community Lead, and I’ve loved being part of this community of scrappy, generous, wildly creative founders ever since. So to have Cantina Royal recognized by this community a few years later means a whole lot. ❤️

Built with sweet tamarind, smoky Mexican chiles, and a chef’s obsession with flavor, this sauce has come a long way from our restaurant kitchen.

Thanks to everyone who’s helped get us here. We’re honored to be in the running.

One month, Coast to coast. One mission: spreading modern Mexican heat to as many bold eaters as we can.

We’re officially halfway through the Grand Hot Sauce Expo Tour, and next stop is Portsmouth, New Hampshire for the 5th Annual New England Hot Sauce Fest!
